Ezequiel Farca was born in Mexico City in 1967. He started his professional training at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City with a degree in Industrial Design. He was awarded a scholarship by the Western Washington University in Washington State to continue his studies with a specialization in Industrial Design. He continued his training with a Master’s Degree in Architecture for Large Scale and Other Environments at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Barcelona, Spain, where he obtained a doctorate in architectural projects, as well as a specialization in modern forms.
Ezequiel works in Mexico City in architectural projects and yacht design. He has become a national icon of design due to his focus on high quality, innovation and lifestyle.
The numerous design awards that Ezequiel has won include the Quórum Award to the Best Mexican Designer, the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, the Best of Year Product Design Award, granted by the Interior Design magazine, and the Design Award in 2008. In 2009, he won the Good Design Award. In 2010, he received the Red Dot Design Award for the collections he created for STANZA® with URREA® and, in 2014, he received the Interior Innovation Award, given by the German Design Council for his NEO collection, which he also created with URREA.
The HASEN bath fixture collection that Ezequiel designed with URREA led him to win the professional category at the 8th National Design and Bronze Biennial Exhibition of the A'Design Awards 2015.
